William D. O'Neal

I have been a practicing business attorney since 1991. I was originally licensed in the State of Alaska after my graduation from law school in 1991, where I started my legal career as an associate with a prominent Maritime and Real Estate law firm in Anchorage. I was a member in good standing of the Alaska Bar Association from 1991 until 1993 when I relocated to Arizona to accept a position with a large Phoenix law firm. I have practiced as an Arizona-based attorney and a member in good standing of the Arizona State Bar since my admission in 1993.

Education

I graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law with a Juris Doctorate Degree in 1991. In 1984, I earned a B.A Degree in Professional Music from the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Legal Experience

During the first 7 years of my legal career, I practiced in the large law firm environment handling matters for large corporate and business clients. I also served as General Counsel to a well-known Phoenix-based publicly traded company for 3 years. For the past 16 years, I have been in private solo practice representing small to medium-sized businesses from medical device companies to entertainment companies. I also have an active immigration visa practice focusing on fiancée/ marriage visas and Green Cards for foreign spouses.

Corporate Practice

I am a full service corporate and business attorney. I represent both private and public companies from a wide variety of business sectors on a wide range of corporate issues - from formation to intellectual property matters to going public. I also provide a very attractive and affordable outside general counsel service to smaller companies who cannot afford the cost of a full-time attorney or the fees charged by the larger law firms, but still desire the services and expertise of an experienced business attorney.
